Twin Tastes gets bit by Sound Bites

This Tacoma company takes on taste.

Fiercely Local. Those two words are how the Tacoma-based company Sound Bites describes itself. Believing in the philosophies that local tastes better and that reducing the carbon footprint is important to all, Richard Hines and Stephen McConkey started Sound Bites Sauce & Spread Co. in Tacoma in June 2008. Their goal was to bring recognition, and more importantly to support, to Washington-grown products and farmers to keep them growing for future generations.

Every inch of the market renders incredible visual presentations of a variety of foods, tantalizing scents that lure, and cacophonies of buyers and sellers trading money and ideas. At their peaks right, these markets are downright dangerous. Wanting it all and not chancing missing anything Twin Tastes tends to go overboard. Now what to do with all this freshness?
