Wine Monday is now Wine Tuesday

Well it is official. Wine Mondays are now Wine Tuesdays. My friends all agree the wine opens best on Tuesday. Lots of customers to see and only so much wine to go around so, we open our samples on Mondays. If that doesn’t make sense you don’t worry, it’s not really that important to the plot. The only thing that is important is the wine.

This past Wine Monday was actually Wine Tuesday. Monday was too hectic for everyone, so we had to put our wine meeting off a day. We are busy people with busy lives, except Lilli of Noble Wines who had to get home to finish her “Twilight” book series. Must be nice… just kidding Lilli, you are by far the most frazzled of us all.

I am sad to say that Ty of Unique Wines will be leaving our little tasting group. He is moving on to a new job as manager of Water-to-Wine in Gig Harbor. We wish him the best of luck on his new venture and perhaps he will join us on occasion.

Wine-tasting potpourri

Friends and competitors get together to dish and drink

Almost every Monday, several of my wine friends/wine reps. and I get together and talk about wine. While we are all competitive we are also fair and honest with what we bring to the table. Fortunately most of us have been in the business for some time and our tastes run pretty much the same, so good wine flows… like wine.

For this tasting I asked everyone to just bring something fun. In the future, I hope to have a little more structure and perhaps a blind tasting of sorts. These are the wines we sampled:
